Main Rules

  • Runtime of 15 minutes or less including credits;
  • Produced after 01/01/2020;
  • Must not have participated in the previous editions of “TRAme Indipendenti;
  • All films, except those in Italian, must have English subtitles;
  • The short film can be of any kind; the materials received will be divided into the following categories: "narratives", "documentaries" and "animations";

Stefano Alpini


Producer and director, he teaches Visual Sociology at the University of Pisa.

 

Martina Cecere


Videomaker and student of "Disciplines of Show and Communication" at the University of Pisa. Passionate about film and photography.

 

Luca Ciuti


Director of Photography, graduated from the "Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia", lives and works between Rome and London. His works include feature films, documentaries, TV series, music videos and commercials.

Emanuele Marcucci


Passionate about film and music, he is involved in digital marketing for film distributions and has worked continuously for the past 6 years with LaScimmiaPensa.com, a website dedicated to the world of movies and entertainment.

Cristina Pitanti


Class of '91 passionate about cinema from an early age. Video artist, student of "Disciplines of Show and Communication" at the University of Pisa and collaborator in the realization of events at the Arsenal Cinema.

Stefano Salvadori


Passionate about film, music and television. Graduated in "Disciplines of Show and Communication" at the University of Pisa and specialized in Digital compositor at the Rea Academy in Rome. Member of the Centro Studi Commedia all'italiana.

 

Flaminia Trapani


A graduate in Linguistic Mediation, she took her first steps as a director and screenwriter in 2017 at Cinemadamare. She has been collaborating in Pisa with the OCM - Organismi Cinematograficamente Modificati association since 2020 and with Trame Indipendenti since 2021.

The short film titled “Corruption on Earth” is about a fictional award ceremony for the “Best Regime in the World”. The prize is awarded to Iran. The excellent political and social achievements of the political leadership were praised in a laudatory speech. In an emotional acceptance speech, Iran's supreme political leader Ali Khamenei insists on going into detail about his regime's excellent achievements in person. The filmic recordings are mixed with real cell phone recordings of the current Iran protests and in this way combine reality and fiction, they are intended to leave the viewer in a state of emotional chaos.
